About the estimate

Diagnostic visit: $79. If you go ahead with the work, the $79 is credited toward it.

Warranties follow manufacturer recommendations and XQS terms for each service. Call for details about coverage or financing.

Ask for a price based on your tank and access. If tank locating or inspection is needed, confirm how those services are priced with the pump out.

Check it yourself first

Before you call: three quick septic checks.

Checks you can do without opening anything. They help you plan the pump out and the visit.

  1. Find your septic paperwork: The site plan that came with your septic permit shows the approximate location of the system. Have it ready if you can.[13]
  2. Garbage disposal? If you use one, your tank needs to be checked more often than usual.[13]
  3. Alarm light or sound: If your system has a pump and its alarm is sounding or flashing, call: that is a listed sign of a problem.[12]

Safety: Never open or lean into the septic tank. The gases inside can be deadly.[8]

Your questions, answered

Before you schedule.

A clear scope makes the next step easier. Let us know if you have questions about the visit.

Is water in the tank after pumping always a problem?

A septic tank normally contains liquid during operation. The presence of water alone does not establish whether a pump out or repair is needed.

What if the tank location is unknown?

Ask for septic tank locating. It can be a separate service or coordinated with the pump out, with pricing based on the arrangement.
